Booking terms

Two lines: we arrange and guarantee your booking; the tour itself is run by a local partner operator. Cancel more than 24h ahead and you get everything back. If the weather kills the trip, you re-book or get a full refund — always.
1. Who's who
The guide is operated by Felipe Figueiredo, in Porto de Galinhas (Ipojuca/PE, Brazil). We act as an intermediary: we assemble the tours, agree the price, and handle your booking and payment. The tour itself is always run by a local partner — the boatman, the buggy driver, the surf school, the restaurant.
In practice: if anything goes wrong, talk to us first. We took your payment and we sort it out with the operator.
2. Prices
- All prices are in Brazilian reais (R$) and are per person, unless the activity says "fixed price" — then it covers the whole party.
- The "street price" shown alongside is what's charged outside; you pay the rate we agreed with the operator.
- Card payments carry a processing fee, shown separately before you confirm. Pix and pay-on-site have no fee.
3. How a booking is confirmed
- You get a code (e.g. PORTO-1234). That code is what counts at the meeting point.
- Pix: your spot is held and confirms when the payment lands. Put the code in the transfer description.
- Card: confirms automatically once payment is approved.
- Pay on site: already confirmed; you settle with the operator on the day.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
- More than 24 hours ahead: cancel freely, full refund.
- Between 12 and 24 hours ahead: 50% refund — by then the operator has held the boat or vehicle for you.
- Under 12 hours ahead, or no-show: no refund.
- Rescheduling beats cancelling and we'll move you free of charge whenever the operator has room. Just ask in the chat.
5. Right of withdrawal
Because this is a distance purchase, Brazilian consumer law (CDC art. 49) gives you 7 calendar days from booking to withdraw and get everything back. The common case to know: if the tour is actually run within those 7 days and you took part, the right is exhausted by performance — until then it applies normally, even inside the windows in section 4.
6. Weather, tide and sea
Boat trips, jangada rides and diving depend on the tide and sea conditions, and the call to go out is always the operator's, for safety. If a trip doesn't run because of weather, tide or a safety call, you choose: reschedule or a 100% refund. No argument, no fee.
The natural pools only work at low tide — the day's window is given in the chat and can shift. We never promise you'll see seahorses, dolphins or any wildlife: they're wild.
7. On the day
- Arrive 15 minutes early at the agreed meeting point with your code ready.
- Arriving late can mean missing the departure with no refund — boats and buggies leave on a fixed schedule.
- Follow the operator's safety instructions. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused boarding, with no refund.
- Children are always the responsibility of the accompanying adult.
8. Responsibility
We are answerable for everything about your booking: what you were charged, what you were told, the handoff to the operator, and refunds when they're due. Running the tour — driving, equipment, insurance and crew conduct — is the operator's responsibility. If something goes wrong during the tour, tell us anyway: we mediate.
9. Zeca is an automated assistant
Chat replies are generated by AI. He's good, but he can be wrong: your confirmation email and this page are what count. No booking exists without a code. And we never ask for card details in the chat.
10. Reaching us
Through the chat (there's a "message the team" item in the menu) or at contato@destina.me. These terms are governed by Brazilian law, venue Ipojuca/PE, without prejudice to your right to file where you live.
